Mordred travels throughout France in order to fulfill the destiny that he has instilled in him since childhood, through the stories told by his adoptive father, the storyteller : to become a knight. It is difficult to save the kingdom when you have grown up on legends...And even more to make a knight of a skinny, stubborn and blunderer kid !
Fay, prodigy pupil of the Lady of the Lake, is the young fairy appointed to guide Mordred towards the weapon that will bring him to the round table. If the customs are respected, she will also be made a “lady”. She would have preferred to be a knight, but no question about complaining : duty before everything!
But in our history, knights and fairies are more tyrannical than heroic and do everything to keep the established power structure. The creatures of the legends are less monstrous than they appear... There is something wrong with the worldview that has been imposed on them since they were little.
From epic misadventures to unlikely exploits, our duo will refuse the codes to save the kingdom according to their own version of chivalry. They do not realize it, but they already write their legend : With honest heart, nothing is impossible!
Each episode takes place in a different French region, exploring a local tale and medieval monuments.
Each quest will feature corrupt knights and virtuous monsters as a prism to talk about ecology, social determinism and the economic system.
