Medium-length adventure film in development, for children, written and directed by Lukas Nesprias adapted from Basque legends
In a holiday camp surrounded by nature, 12-year-old Oneka sees her best friend leave her for another. Experiencing her loneliness badly, she takes refuge in the forest where she meets with a Lamina, a mythological Basque creature.
On that day, the Lamina lost her precious comb, and Oneka helps her to find it. A fortuitous complicity starts between them... Breaking all the rules, Oneka is secretly introduced into the Laminas' lair. She begins to forget her friend, but the integration does not go as planned... The Gaueko had warned!
The golden comb of the Lamina revisits the Basque legend of laminas in our time. The film invites children and families to explore the concept of relational grief in the form of a fantastic tale with horror accents.
